What Is Internet Marketing - Part 3

In the beginning you need to work out is if you are truly serious about setting up a business in Internet Marketing, is what time you can realistically apportion to it, you also need to set yourself goals, this step is very important and it keeps you focused, to start with don’t set yourself unaccepted goals just start with minor ones and this will keep you focused and feel good about yourself every time you reach a goal.

recollect you are just starting out take baby steps or the other expression you will hear a lot is, “It’s a marathon, not a sprint”, so take your time, learn everything you can and don’t rush it, Rome was not built in a day and boy believe me there is a ton of stuff to learn in this industry, yes you will learn how to outsource stuff (that means getting other people to do the work for you, usually at a fraction of the cost in India etc, they will be experts in whichever field you require, e.g. writing articles, seo etc) but it is still wise to have knowledge of everything yourself first.

You will hear a lot of people expressing that you can do Internet Marketing without outlaying a dime

- yes this is true to a certain stage, but it depends on you what you want to do, what outcome you are looking for, you could just write articles which promote other peoples products and then get a commission for it, some people have earned really good money doing this or as every guru will tell you, you can make some serious money by selling your own product, which then you will need to put money into your business, as you will need a web site etc…

I hope this will give the newbie (that’s what we call an individual that is completely new to Internet Marketing) a little bit of an insight into Internet Marketing and what to expect from it, it is not to put you off but just to stop you from making the same mistakes as me and many other Internet Marketers out there, do your due diligence and don’t spend your money unnecessarily on course after course and get yourself in debt.

Internet Marketing is a wonderful business to get into and the rewards are great if you go about it correctly.

The best advice I can give you as a novice is to get yourself an internet marketing mentor, 100% of all successful internet marketers out there will tell you this.
